Welcome to the only web site dedicated to visitor information for Northeast Florida. Included within this site is a comprehensive archive of maps and guides designed to help visitors to this unique and wonderful area get the most from their visit. If you are planning to visit this area for only a day or two, a week or two, or if you plan to relocate here, you are certain to find information on this site useful. Perhaps you are definitely going to visit Florida, but you haven't yet decided which part of the state to concentrate your visit in? Well, all of Florida has much to offer, and you will likely want to visit all parts of the state at some future point, but if your tastes lean more toward beach-combing, hiking, golfing, boating, diving and other natural pursuits, look no further than Northeast Florida. As it stands today, Northeast Florida is a well kept secret. Hordes of tourists flock to Central and South Florida each year, great destinations in their own right, but only a diligent percentage of those visitors ever travel a little bit further North to what could be the most enjoyable part of the Florida experience. Its just a little different up here. Large theme parks with man-made structures are traded for Southern charm and a rich history dating back four hundred years. Long sprawling sandy beaches are easy to get to, and for the most part are uncrowded. World-class fresh and salt water fishing is available for beginners and experts. Huge expanses of protected wilderness allow visitors to catch a glimpse of what Florida was really like when the Spaniards first arrived here centuries ago. Some of the finest golf courses ever built are seemingly around every corner. Winter temperatures are mild, Summer ocean breezes keep you cool, and Spring and Fall are, well, perfect. History, Charm, Nature, Adventure, Sport - Its all here, and we hope this site is your map to discovering one of the last hidden jewels in Florida. The map below indicates the general area covered within this site, although suggestions are made for other short day trips outside of the general area. The easiest way to get started is to either follow menu items from the Main Page, or simply Search for topics of most interest to you on an upcoming vacation. If you have questions, suggestions or comments, please e-mail them to us and we will try to honor your requests. Area of Coverage
