There's always plenty to do in Northeast Florida, regardless of the time of year. To help you determine which events you want to reserve time for, different calendars have been created for major area events.

The following map will lead you to listings of NE Florida Events and Festivals times and dates for available locations. The lists are arranged chronologically.

Early April	Great Atlantic Seafood Festival - at the Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach	Sam Veal 904-249-3972	Local and State harvested seafood is the focus of this festival in Jacksonville Beach, which features some of the area's best beaches.
Mid April	Jacksonville Beach Shrimp Festival - at the Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach	Brad Nelson 743-1461	Enjoy quality music, arts and crafts, amusement rides, and of course, great shrimp and other local and state seafood.
Late April	Beaches Festival Weekend - at the Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach	Sam Veal 904-249-3972 Jimmy Wilkins 904-247-6236	This event kicks off the Summer Season at Jacksonville Beach with music, parades, beach events and activities for all ages and likes.
Late April	Springing the Blues Festival - Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach	Sam Veal 904-249-3972	Nationally known blues performers entertain daily in this blues-colored festival that features good food, all-age entertainment and a 5k run.
Mid to Late April	Feast and Fest....A Taste of Jacksonville - Downtown Jacksonville	Theresa O'Donnell Price 904-630-3690	Sample food from local Jacksonville restaurants and take part in the annual "Blessing of the Fleet."
First Weekend in May	Isle of 8 Flags Shrimp Festival - Amelia Island and Downtown Fernandina Beach	Sandra Price 904-261-3248	Held annually on the first weekend in May, this well attended festival features parades, racing, blessing of the fleet, lots of family activities/entertainment and, of course, bountiful supplies of freshly caught seafood.
Early May	World of Nations Celebration - Metropolitan Park, Downtown Jacksonville	Theresa O'Donnell Price 904-630-3690	A showcase for Jacksonville's multi-cultural communities, this festival features a Parade of Flags, entertainment from various cultures, arts and crafts and special activities for children.
Mid May	The Crawfish Man's Crawfish Festival - Sea Walk Area, Jacksonville Beach	Don Scallan 904-378-0708	This wonderful festival brings Cajun food and entertainment to Jacksonville Beach. There are eating contests and activities for all ages.
Mid to Late May	Scout Blast Festival - Jacksonville Naval Air Station	John E. Reesor Bill McCarmy 904-388-0591	Sponsored by the North Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and supported by the U.S. Navy and other local organizations, this festival focuses on scouting skills and youth development. Activities include skydiving demonstrations, rock climbing, games and aircraft displays.
Late May	Spring Music Festival - Metropolitan Park, Downtown Jacksonville	Theresa O'Donnell Price 904-630-3690	This festival is centered around a free concert featuring a nationally known recording artist each year.
Mid-June	Fiesta Playera - Sea Walk Pavilion, Jacksonville Beach	Victor Cora 904-751-0533 Sam Veal 904-249-3972	This festival is centered around the traditional Hispanic celebration of St. John the Baptist Day. Featured is Hispanic music and foods as well as a variety of entertainment for the entire family.
July 4th	Fourth of July Celebration - Metropolitan Park, Downtown Jacksonville	Theresa O'Donnell Price 904-630-3690	Annual 4th of July event features a free concert headlined by a nationally known country entertainer, food and fireworks.
July 4th	Liberty Fest - Independence Day Celebration - Sea Walk Area, Jacksonville Beach	Marilyn Matejcek 904-247-6268	Annual 4th of July event featuring concerts, flag ceremonies, skydiving exhibitions and a spectacular on-the-beach fireworks display.

Late October	Volkswagen Heritage Celebration - Downtown, Centre Street, Fernandina Beach	Deb Cottle 904-261-3248	This festival is centered around displays of hundreds of exotic and historical automobiles, located in historic Fernandina Beach where there is great food to be had, and activities for all ages.
Late October	Annual Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs Football Game - Alltel Sports Complex, Downtown Jacksonville	Theresa O'Donnell Price 904-630-3690	This annual event includes much more than the game. There are many different events and festivals associated with one of the best college football rivalries in the nation.
Early November	WJCT Jacksonville Jazz Festival - Various downtown Jacksonville locations	Vic DiGenti 904-358-6336	This annual event is a weeklong festival featuring great jazz music (local and nationally known artists), great food and activities for all ages. This is a festival not to be missed if you are in NE Florida in early November.
Early November	The First Coast Ham Jam - Middleburg	Ronnie Munsey 904-284-4728	This annual barbeque cooking contest is accompanied with country and western music, carnival rides and activities for the entire family.
Early December	City of MaCclenny's Christmas Festival - Downtown MaCclenny along Highway 90	Buddy Dugger 904-259-3331	Lighted Christmas parade and holiday entertainment/activities for the entire family

Late November through End of January	Downtown St. Augustine	Wayne Sims 904-825-1010	Month and a half celebration of the holiday season that features various events, luminaria, and parade. Near Christmas, many boats tie off in the harbor and show off brightly lighted sales and masts.
